Roasted Cherry Tomato Sauce

So to get started, you will just need to drag-n-drop the How-to Schema block in the Gutenberg editor. The How-to Schema block can be used on pages that contain a How-to in their title and describe steps to achieve certain requirements.

Total Time Needed :

Required Tools:

– Parchment Paper
– Cookie Sheet
– Oven

Things Needed?

– Enough cherry tomatoes to single layer fill a cookie sheet
– Several bulbs of garlic
– Balsamic Vinegar (a good thick type)
– Sea Salt

Steps to configure the How-to Schema:

Step 1

Line your cookie sheet with parchment paper, this is gonna get messy!

Step 2

Next, scatter all those gorgeous cherry tomatoes you’ve been working so hard to defend from the chipmunks on your lined sheet. In between those yummy nuggets place your peeled and separated cloves of garlic.

Step 3

Once you’ve got everything neatly arranged, drizzle with olive oil (not extra virgin, don’t be a wimp) and copious amounts of balsamic vinegar, then sprinkle a dash of sea salt – don’t be shy, those last two ingredients impart a ton of flavour! Bake at 350F for about an hour or so…you want them looking like shriveled raisins or close to that.

Step 4

From here you can just take them out and mix in with spaghetti al dente with some olive oil OR run them through a vegetable strainer and make a beautiful sauce that you can do soooo many things with! I end up pressure canning mine up to whip out over the winter.
Your welcome :).
